Robert & Chiara’s Wedding at The Allyn Lodge

Robert and Chiara’s love story began as a friendship in their theater troupe, slowly growing into something more and eventually leading them to their July 11, 2026 wedding, a beautiful celebration of family, tradition, and two people who know how to have a good time.

The day began with getting ready in Syracuse, NY, surrounded by the excitement and anticipation of the day ahead. Between candid moments with their closest friends and group photos, there was a natural mix of laughter, happy nerves, and the little interactions that made the morning feel so personal. These quieter moments set the tone for a day centered on the people who have been part of Robert and Chiara’s story from the beginning.

Chiara shared a first look with her dad in the Atrium before Mass and it was one of the most special parts of the day. Emotion overtook him when he saw his little girl all dolled up and ready to marry her best friend.

Their ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church was especially meaningful, with Filipino wedding traditions that included the unity candle, wedding cord, and arras. Having a priest who knew Robert and Chiara as they grew up made the ceremony feel even more personal, bringing a familiar warmth to such an important milestone. From the meaningful traditions to the sincere, intimate moments shared throughout the Mass, their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their faith, their families, and the life they were beginning together.

We continued with family portraits inside the church and bridal party photos and then headed to The Lodge at Skaneateles for newlywed portraits across the property, taking advantage of the beautiful grounds and surroundings.

Cocktail hour at The Lodge at Skaneateles was full of personality, with gorgeous food stations, an inviting fireplace, and a room filled wall to wall with family and friends. The fun extended down the venue’s corridor, where guests could enjoy giant Solo Cup pong, a popcorn machine, and cornhole. Every detail made the space feel warm, welcoming, and ready for a celebration.

Robert and Chiara’s choreographed first dance was a highlight of the evening. Complete with a lift, it was romantic, exciting, and completely worth the anticipation!

The heartfelt speeches from both fathers, the best man, and the maid of honor brought plenty of laughter and emotion, followed by sentimental parent dances that made the evening even more meaningful. Then, once the dance floor opened, the party really took off. As two people with theater backgrounds, Robert and Chiara brought all the moves, energy, and personality you could hope for. Their reception was an incredible mix of genuine emotion and nonstop fun.

This wedding was especially close to our hearts because my husband, Javee, has known Robert since childhood. Getting to photograph and film this milestone and watch him begin this next chapter with his beautiful bride was such a special experience.
