Eric & Lindsay
Oak Park Marina | Sodus, NY | September 6, 2025
Lindsay and Eric’s wedding day at Oak Park Marina unfolded with the kind of warmth that instantly pulls you in. Early fall colors framed the waterfront and the cozy outdoor ceremony space felt like it belonged in its own little world. Boats drifted in the background, leaves were just beginning to turn, and every detail carried an easygoing charm that fit the couple perfectly.
Lindsay spent the morning tucked away in the charming room above the barn. The atmosphere floated between calm excitement and anticipation. Hair and makeup wrapped up just as the energy shifted from preparation to celebration and everyone began to sense that the day was truly beginning.
Not far away, Eric and his groomsmen prepared at the inn. A barber arrived to give the guys fresh cuts which made the room feel like a pop up barbershop filled with jokes and laughter. Suspenders, cowboy boots, and a little personality from Eric’s signature mullet created a look that was uniquely his.
Moments Before the Ceremony Lindsay shared a quiet first look with her dad. It was one of those moments that feels suspended in time and radiates emotion in the simplest way.
Rather than a first look with Eric, the two opted for a first touch around a corner. They held hands, exchanged private vows, and let the sound of the marina settle around them. It was intimate and deeply meaningful and set the tone for the rest of the day.
Guests gathered overlooking the water as Lindsay walked toward the arbor, beautifully decorated and glowing in the soft fall light. Their friend Anthony officiated, adding warmth and familiarity. The entire ceremony felt close and personal. Laughter and tears mingled with the gentle breeze coming off the marina. When the newlyweds came back down the aisle they were met with a joyful bubble exit that filled the air with color and motion. It was playful and lighthearted and suited them perfectly.
The family and bridal party stayed after the ceremony for group photos. The nieces, nephews, and the flower girl added that little spark of energy that only kids can bring. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their soft light rose dresses with bouquets hiding the playful inside joke from the florist. The groomsmen stood opposite them looking sharp with their fresh barber cuts, suspenders, and cowboy boots which gave the whole group a relaxed but polished style. At one point a bag of chips appeared and Lindsay and Eric shared a mid portrait snack break which instantly turned into some of the most genuine and hilarious frames of the day.
Both dads were surprised with custom shirts that had everyone smiling. Just when Lindsay thought the surprises were done Eric handed her a custom Bills jacket. As huge Bills fans the moment meant everything to them and the reaction was priceless.
Once family photos were finished, we did a round of couples portraits at the ceremony site by the arbor. Later, during the reception, we stepped out again and headed to the water just as the sun was setting. The golden light, the calm lake, and their easy laughter made for a set of portraits that felt soft, warm, and authentically them.
Guests made their way into the barn for cocktail hour and the start of the evening festivities. Introductions kicked everything off with the entire wedding party entering together which set a fun and lively mood. Lindsay and Eric shared their first dance soon after followed by heartfelt parent dances. Speeches from family and friends carried the perfect mix of humor and emotion to close the night’s formalities.
Dinner was served buffet style while laughter and conversations filled the barn. Guests drifted between tables catching up with old friends and making new ones while the warm string lights overhead gave everything a soft glow. Before the dancing kicked off DJ Keyyo gathered everyone together for a giant group photo. Watching the entire wedding crowd squeeze in tight, cheering and waving, created one of the most joy filled moments of the night.
Once the music started the dance floor stayed full. DJ Keyyo kept the energy high with an organized group dance that pulled almost every guest to their feet. Kids twirled around adults. Friends linked arms. Family members who had not danced in years found themselves swept up in the fun. The barn felt alive in a way that only happens when a couple’s entire community celebrates together. Lindsay and Eric’s Bills fandom showed up everywhere and made the evening feel even more personal. Their guest book was a custom Bills jersey that everyone signed which turned into a perfect keepsake. Throughout the night you could spot fans throwing the signature hand signs, chanting playful Bills Mafia phrases, and hyping the couple up every time something Buffalo related appeared. The energy carried straight through to the final dances. The music, the lights, the shouts of Bills pride, and the people who love Lindsay and Eric most created a closing chapter to their day that was unforgettable.
From the cozy ceremony to the glow of sunset on the water to the joy packed dance floor this wedding reflected exactly who Lindsay and Eric are. Genuine. Warm. Full of humor and love. Oak Park Marina gave them the perfect backdrop and every detail came together to create a day that their families and friends will remember for years to come. Congratulations Lindsay and Eric. It was an honor to capture your story.
