Deepi and Danny’s wedding at Colloca Winery was the kind of day that felt like a homecoming. Even though they’ve built their life together in Seattle, they chose to return to upstate New York to celebrate surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. What made it even sweeter was having their pup, Linux, right there by their side, because to them, she’s not just a dog, she’s family. Their wedding wasn’t just about vows and rings; it was about gathering their people, honoring where they came from, and soaking in every ounce of love that filled the air.
Sweet, Personal Moments Getting Ready
Morning excitement buzzed through the air as Deepi got ready with her bridesmaids, her mom, and the flower girl, while Danny prepared with his groomsmen downstairs. Details mattered: watches, wedding bands, shoes, and invitations were captured with care, little pieces of their story that would tell the bigger story of their love for years to come.
One of the most touching moments? Their first look, just the two of them on the patio of Colloca Winery’s barn, sunlight spilling over the water just beyond. A quiet pause to breathe, take it all in, and let the day truly sink in. After their first look, we captured sweet couple portraits, with their pup joining in for a few playful moments, a perfect little addition to their story.
A Ceremony That Felt Like Them
Friends and family gathered to witness the magic as Deepi and Danny exchanged vows, officiated by their friend Arbaaz and accompanied by the soft sounds of a string quartet. Deepi walked down the aisle as petals rained around her, a joyful moment that perfectly captured the love in the air. The ceremony had its hilarious moments too, like when Arbaaz forgot the ring exchange, and their playful pup decided to climb right into the action. Yet there were also tender, personal touches: Deepi presenting Danny his favorite coffee inside a joke only they would get, making the day feel intimate and truly their own.
Family, Friends, and Linux
After the ceremony, it was all about family photos and capturing the love that surrounds Deepi and Danny. And yes, Linux made her way into every shot she could, because no wedding for these two would be complete without their little girl. Seeing them with her during these moments reminded everyone why their wedding was so much more than a day of pretty details, it was about the people (and pup) who make their life full.
Time to Celebrate
Guests enjoyed cocktails, mingling, and laughter as the couple made it a priority to take photos with each and every person who traveled to be there. When the reception kicked off, the energy shifted to full-on celebration. Wedding party introductions, a choreographed first dance complete with a dreamy dip, and Deepi’s father-daughter dance had everyone smiling from ear to ear. Speeches, starting with Deepi’s mom, were full of warmth and funny stories that had the whole room in the best kind of tears.
Dinner, speeches, and special dances brought a mix of laughter and quiet moments as Deepi and Danny shared time at their sweetheart table. The shoe game had everyone laughing, giving little glimpses into their playful personalities, and the night’s rhythm carried perfectly from heartfelt moments to pure, carefree dancing.

One of our favorite moments of the day was when Deepi and Danny slipped away to the docks for sunset photos. The light, the water, and that quiet pause just for them felt cinematic in the best way. It was the kind of magic that reminds you why wedding days are so important, the big moments are unforgettable, but it’s these small, intimate pauses that feel like forever.

The rest of the evening was full of dancing, cake, and laughter. Surrounded by friends and family, Deepi and Danny’s wedding was more than a celebration, it was a beautiful reflection of their life together.

Colloca Winery was the perfect canvas for Deepi and Danny’s celebration. Vineyards stretching toward the horizon, a sparkling waterfront, and that warm summer light made every corner feel like it was made for photos, and for memories.
