Dan & Riley
June 14, 2025 | Casa Larga Winery, Fairport, NY
Riley and Dan’s wedding at Casa Larga was the kind of day that felt effortless from beginning to end. Surrounded by their favorite people, stunning vineyard views, and just the right mix of happy tears and big laughs, their celebration was filled with all the things that make a wedding unforgettable.
The morning began with Riley and her bridesmaids in the Casa Larga bridal suite, laughter and excitement filling the room. Just down the road, Dan and his groomsmen got ready at his best man’s house, a convenient spot close to the venue.
Riley shared a tearful and heartfelt first look with her dad and brother at Casa Larga, a moment that set the tone for the day.
Bridal party portraits were captured all throughout the morning while both the bride and groom prepared for their big day.
Riley and Dan saved all the emotional moments for the aisle, where Dan’s expression said it all as he saw his bride walking toward him. Their outdoor ceremony, officiated by Dan’s cousin Mindy, was intimate and personal, with vows exchanged under the summer sky. One of the most meaningful moments of the day came during a Casa Larga tradition, Riley and Dan each poured a different wine into a single decanter, symbolizing their two lives blending together into something new and magical. Just like the wines creating a richer flavor when combined, this ritual beautifully reflected the way marriage is about joining two unique individuals into one shared journey. Guests loved the symbolism, and it added such a personal, vineyard-inspired touch.
After the ceremony, Riley and Dan gathered with their families on the deck at Casa Larga for formal portraits. With wine slushies in hand and plenty of laughter, the photos felt less like posing and more like celebrating together.
The reception hall glowed in the afternoon sun, with natural light streaming through the large windows and spilling across the tables. Each table was decorated with lush, romantic florals that added both color and elegance to the space. A personal touch made the room even more special, at every table sat a book where guests could leave notes, memories, and advice. Riley and Dan plan to open each one on the anniversary that matches the table number, a beautiful tradition that will let them relive the love of their wedding day for years to come.
Cocktail hour on the grounds of Casa Larga was followed by an unforgettable reception. Soon after, the whole wedding party was introduced to cheers, immediately setting the tone for the night.
Riley and Dan’s first dance came next, followed by sentimental parent dances that had guests misty eyed.
The speeches were filled with laughter, heartfelt stories, and just the right amount of nostalgia. Members of the bridal party and family shared memories that had guests smiling through tears one moment and laughing out loud the next. Each toast captured a piece of Riley and Dan’s story, weaving together how loved and supported they are by the people closest to them.
As the golden hour approached, Riley and Dan slipped away into the vineyards for sunset portraits. With their best man and maid of honor by their side, they exchanged private vows among the vines, a sweet, quiet pause in an otherwise joy-filled day.
Later in the evening, the couple cut their cake in the sweetest way smiles, a little frosting, and lots of cheering from guests.
From there, the night only got bigger and brighter. The dance floor came alive with energy, Riley’s mom, brother, and friends pulled off a surprise choreographed dance complete with boas and sunglasses, erupting the room in laughter and applause.
Showcase Sound kept the energy high, and the dance floor was packed until the very end. From start to finish, Riley and Dan’s day was a perfect reflection of them, warm, joyful, and full of love.
