From the moment I arrived at Whitehall Mansion, the energy in the room was unmatched. The morning was filled with that perfect blend of calm and excitement — music playing softly, laughter echoing from every corner, and the scent of fresh florals drifting through the air. Giovanna spent the morning surrounded by her closest family and friends in the mansion’s gorgeous prep space, and it couldn’t have been a more joyful start to the day.

After slipping into her gown, she looked absolutely breathtaking, truly like a princess. When it was time for her bridal party to see her for the first time, the energy shifted. The girls absolutely glowed as they turned around to see Giovanna standing there, radiant and emotional. It was such a sweet, genuine moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.

Downstairs Adam and his groomsmen spent time preparing themselves for the big day. Giovanna and Adam chose to exchange gifts and it was during morning prep that Adam opened it. Needless to say, he loved it.

Before heading outside for her first look with Adam, Giovanna shared a first look with her dad on the front porch of the mansion. It was such a tender moment, the kind that quietly takes everyone’s breath away. His reaction said everything. You could see how proud he was, how much love filled that space. It was emotional, heartfelt, and such a beautiful pause in the middle of an otherwise bustling morning.

From there, we headed to the front porch of the mansion, where Giovanna and Adam shared their first look. It was intimate and full of emotion, just the two of them, the sound of the breeze moving through the trees, and the excitement of finally being together on their wedding day. They exchanged personal vows right there on the porch, and it was one of those quiet, sacred moments that you could feel deep in your chest.

Afterward, we moved into bridal party and couple portraits around the property. The mansion grounds offered endless backdrops, elegant architecture, soft light, and that timeless feel that makes every frame look like it belongs in a magazine. The best part? Their two sweet dogs joined in for photos, stealing the show in their own way and adding the most heartfelt, personal touch to the day.

As guests began to arrive, the energy built toward the ceremony. The back patio at Whitehall Mansion was transformed into a lush, floral setting surrounded by greens and summer blooms. It was the perfect place for Giovanna and Adam to say “I do”. They finished the ceremony with a passionate kiss and the guests went wild.

After the ceremony, guests flowed effortlessly between the indoor and outdoor spaces, enjoying cocktails with live music, gathering around the cigar bar, playing beer pong, and soaking in the golden light. We captured family and a few more couple’s portraits as the celebrations were underway.

As the evening transitioned into the reception, the celebration came alive inside the mansion. The details were absolutely gorgeous and set the tone for an amazing evening.

Giovanna and Adam shared their first dance surrounded by family and friends, and it was one of those moments that stops time for a second, full of emotion, smiles, and pure love. Then, in the best way possible, they invited everyone to join them on the dance floor, turning that intimate moment into a packed floor of joy and movement. It was unforgettable. They followed with their parent dances, each one blending sentiment and fun so beautifully.

The speeches that came next had everyone laughing one minute and tearing up the next, a perfect reflection of who Giovanna and Adam are together. Their story, the way they care for their fur family, and the support surrounding them from every direction made the room feel so full.

As the night carried on, we snuck away for sunset photos inside the mansion by the piano and out in the hedge rows, where the light hit just right. Those portraits have this soft, editorial feel, warm, emotional, and full of connection.

From there, the night was pure celebration. The dance floor stayed packed, little kids twirling beside adults, everyone singing along, and laughter echoing across the room. Giovanna and Adam even had custom t-shirts made for the wedding, a playful and personal touch that matched their energy perfectly. Guests rotated between the indoor and outdoor bars, the fire pits glowing outside as music filled the air.

A highlight of the night was the 360 Photo Booth, which had everyone jumping in to capture hilarious spins and moments of pure joy. Later, we gathered everyone on the dance floor for a giant group photo, one of those perfectly chaotic, love-filled snapshots that sums up exactly what their wedding felt like: full of energy, connection, and celebration.

This wedding was especially close to my heart. I’ve known Giovanna since high school and have followed her incredible journey as a photographer over the years. Watching her step into this next chapter, surrounded by so much love, was an absolute honor. Congratulations, Giovanna and Adam, your day was pure magic.
