Rory & Hannah

The Mansion at Keuka Lake | May 30, 2026

On May 30, 2026, Hannah and Rory said “I do” surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, with the beautiful waters of Keuka Lake setting the scene for a day filled with meaning, laughter, and so many little moments worth remembering.

Their day began at the Mansion on Keuka Lake, where the anticipation slowly built. From Hannah’s bridal details and quiet moments with her girls to Rory getting ready with his closest friends, we captured the excitement before everyone gathered for the ceremony.

One of our favorite parts of the day was the letter exchange. Without seeing each other before the ceremony, Hannah and Rory shared their thoughts and emotions through handwritten letters, a private moment that made the day feel even more personal.

Their ceremony began at the intimate Garrett Memorial Chapel. With their closest family and friends gathered around them, Hannah and Rory exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we captured family portraits, wedding party moments, and portraits of the newlyweds around the chapel and along the water before heading back to the Mansion for cocktail hour and the reception.

The evening was filled with the couple’s first dance, sentimental parent dances, heartfelt speeches, dinner, and plenty of time celebrating with the people they love.

One especially meaningful detail was their cake cutting: the cake was made by Hannah’s sister Terese, while the beautiful cake stand was also handmade by her other sister, Maryn. A simple wedding tradition became something uniquely theirs, surrounded by pieces created by the people closest to them.

As the evening continued, the dance floor came alive. The couple moved and grooved all night with their closest friends and family and truly had a night to remember!

And before the night was over, Hannah and Rory stepped away for sunset portraits overlooking Keuka Lake. With the sun setting around them, they had a few quiet moments to simply take it all in.

There was one little secret that made this day even more special: Hannah and Rory were already beginning their next chapter before they even said “I do.” Their little boy was along for the entire celebration, getting to be part of the very first day of their parents’ new chapter together. From the vows to the dancing, the family photos to those quiet sunset moments, their baby was already there, a tiny part of one of the biggest days of their lives.

And for us, this wedding carried an extra layer of meaning. I grew up with Hannah and her family throughout high school, so getting to come full circle and document her wedding day was incredibly special. To watch someone I’ve known for so many years step into this new chapter, becoming a wife and soon-to-be mom, was something I’ll never take for granted. There’s something so beautiful about getting to witness a familiar face grow through the years and then be trusted to preserve one of the biggest moments of her life.

Hannah & Rory, thank you for letting JV Films be part of your story. We cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes you, and to someday look back at this film and remember that your little one was there from the very beginning.
