Kelly and Geoff, now Mr. and Mrs. Holmes, celebrated their love with a wedding that was nothing short of magical at the Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, NY. From the emotional moments shared with family to the sunlit ceremony by the water, this day was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories.

The day began with on-site preparations for the bride at Timber Banks' gorgeous prep suite, a bright, airy space that was ideal for capturing those timeless getting-ready shots. Kelly was an absolute vision, and her bridal party—stunning in lavender dresses and carrying elegant florals—radiated joy and excitement. Geoff got ready at a nearby hotel with his groomsmen, calm and collected as the anticipation built.

Kelly and Geoff put incredible care into making sure their wedding reflected who they are, with personalized details woven throughout the day. During prep, Kelly had given each mom a special bracelet engraved with "Mother of the Groom" and "Mother of the Bride," creating a touching moment that celebrated both families coming together. Geoff received a personalized tie bar from Kelly, a small but significant detail that added to the sentimentality of the day. Meanwhile, Kelly’s father proudly wore his "Father of the Bride" cufflinks, a gift from his daughter that made their emotional first look even more special.

Before the ceremony, the couple exchanged thoughtful gifts and personal vows, taking a quiet moment to express their love and commitment in a way that was intimate and deeply meaningful. These personal touches set the tone for a wedding day that was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

One of the standout moments was Kelly’s spontaneous decision to have a first look with her father. The raw emotion of that moment—tears, laughter, and a tight embrace—set the tone for a day full of love. Kelly also shared a first look with her bridal party where she reveled to her closest friends what a stunning bride she was!

The ceremony took place at the gazebo on the golf course’s property, with the sun shining down on Kelly and Geoff and boats passing in the background. It was the perfect touch of serenity. In a unique moment, the couple chose to sign their marriage license during the ceremony, a sweet and personal touch that was meaningful to both of them.

After the ceremony, we moved into family and bridal party portraits. The lavender-clad bridesmaids kept the energy fun and playful, a beautiful contrast to the elegant surroundings. The groomsmen brought their own energy to the portraits, and together they created fun, goofy, yet timeless images. The entire bridal party couldn’t stop laughing and having fun!

For couple portraits, Kelly and Geoff took advantage of Timber Banks' expansive property, hopping into a golf cart to explore the grounds. From sunlit paths to intimate, shaded spots, their portraits were filled with emotion, sentiment, and vibrant color. It was a joy to capture their love as they shared those first moments as husband and wife.

The reception venue itself was breathtaking, with rustic wooden beams and grand chandeliers. Kelly and Geoff’s first look of the reception space was a beautiful moment—they were in awe of the elegant centerpieces, detailed table settings, and the overall ambiance of the room.

Their first dance as husband and wife was tender and heartfelt, a moment that they—and everyone in the room—will never forget. The love and connection between them were undeniable.

As the sun set, beams of golden light filtered through the windows during heartfelt speeches from family and friends, making the moment even more memorable.

The parent dances were another emotional highlight. Kelly’s dance with her father was sentimental, with both sharing sweet moments and smiles. Geoff’s dance with his mother was equally touching, full of warmth and connection.

As the day turned to dusk, we stepped outside with the couple to capture one final round of sunset portraits. The light filtering through the trees and the grand venue behind them created a scene right out of a fairytale, with colors so rich and beautiful they seemed painted in.

The evening transitioned into a lively party. Kelly, a huge Taylor Swift fan, had her moment on the dance floor when “Love Story” came on, and she and Geoff danced and sang together. The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and pure joy as guests celebrated this beautiful couple.

The cake cutting was a sweet and playful moment, bringing even more smiles.

The night concluded with a magical sparkler exit, as Kelly and Geoff walked hand in hand through a tunnel of glowing lights, surrounded by their loved ones, marking the perfect end to their unforgettable day.

Having known Kelly since our high school days, photographing hers and Geoff’s wedding felt like a true full-circle moment, one I’ll cherish forever. Watching her grow into the beautiful, kind-hearted woman she is today, and seeing her marry the love of her life, was nothing short of magical. It’s not every day you get to capture the love story of an old friend, and the depth of that connection made every moment even more meaningful. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this day, witnessing firsthand how love can blossom and grow over the years.

Kelly and Geoff’s day was a perfect reflection of their love—beautiful, joyful, and filled with unforgettable moments. It was an honor to capture their wedding, and I wish them all the happiness in the world!
